Advice for Road Runners: The Altra Women's Experience Flow Running Shoes offer a light and responsive underfoot feel. This Altra model has a 4 mm drop from heel-to-toe and Altra's Standard FootShape™ fit.
The compression-moulded midsole provides a lightweight and responsive sensation underneath your feet.
It is worth noting that the midsole feels reasonably firm. However, the low heel to toe drop combines with the rocker shape geometry to try and help your feet to roll forward more efficiently. In short, the midsole design should help you to move through the gait cycle with greater ease and efficiency.
The key point to highlight is the natural fit with a roomy toe box. This should let you splay your toes, and help you engage your big toe joint as you run.
