The midsole features two foams: a top layer of Brooks' DNA Gold cushioning and a bottom layer of DNA FLASH v2 cushioning.

The 100% nitro-infused PEBA DNA Gold cushioning is the lightest, softest, and highest energy-returning foam Brooks has ever made.

While DNA FLASH v2 foam also offers great cushioning and energy return, it should deliver slightly more underfoot stability.
