On paper

The Adios Pro Evo 2 is a road shoe from adidas.

From adidas

The worlds lightest running shoe, so fast it broke the women’s marathon world record by over 2mins on its first run, adidas have the unenviable task of updating one of the most successful race shoes out there, with the Adios Pro Evo 2 in Silver Met./Lucid Red/Grey Two.On first look the adidas Adios Pro Evo 2 looks hugely different than its predecessor, with a chunky look particularly around the forefoot, but don't worry, adidas have decided to stick with what made the original so great and make small adjustments to enhance the ride. The first change is an increase of that extraordinary Lightstrike Pro foam in the forefoot. Offering amazing lightness and energy return, adidas have added 3mm at the 60% rocker point, giving you even more power at this vital part of your stride. This change also provides a slightly more aggressive curve towards the toes, enhancing the rocker sensation for even more go forward. adidas have also removed 2 of the lace eyelets to help save weight. This means that despite the extra foam they have managed to keep the weight down to the extraordinary 138g of the original. A new liquid rubber traction pattern in the outsole completes the changes, but the same ENERGYRODS 2.0 run through the midsole for efficiency gains and a powerful pop at toe-off that lets you find the front and stay there.
