It's hard to be certain where your foot might go when you're running on demanding trails. Every part of the Saucony Peregrine 14 midsole and outsole design should help you feel in more control.
Firstly, 5 mm deep lugs help improve grip on both loose and hard packed surfaces. If your foot is landing in mud with one step, and then on flat wet rock with the next, the grippy PWRTRAC outsole should adapt to the challenge.
Next, a 4 mm drop PWWRUN midsole should offer protection, while also bolstering confidence on uneven ground. There's even a rock plate to stop sharp objects piercing through. If you end up on hard ground, such as a road, the soft PWRRUN+ sockliner should add some welcomed extra comfort.
