Advice for Road Runners: The Nike Women's Pegasus 41 Road Running Shoes are the 41st edition of the legendary Pegasus line of running shoes.

The Pegasus 41 is designed to be durable, dependable and comfortable. ReactX cushioning offers a protective, yet responsive ride.

ReactX foam is engineered to reduce its carbon footprint by at least 43% in a pair of midsoles due to reduced manufacturing process energy compared to prior React foam. The carbon footprint of ReactX is based on cradle-to-gate assessment reviewed by PRé Sustainability B.V and Intertek China. Other midsole components such as airbags, plates or other foam formulations were not considered.

As mentioned, the midsole features ReactX foam. In contrast, the Pegasus 40 featured React foam. ReactX foam is 13% more responsive than previous React technology. The effect of this foam has to be considered in context of the fact that there is a Zoom Air unit at both the heel and the forefoot.
