The top layer of foam in the Mizuno Wave Rebellion Pro 2 midsole now features MIZUNO ENERZY LITE+. As a result, they should feel softer and bouncier than the previous version.

There's still a bottom layer of soft and springy MIZUNO ENERZY LITE foam. However, the midfoot section is now broader. This should translate into a more stable experience.

A full-length carbon infused nylon Wave Plate intersects the two foams. The main purpose of the plate is to improve energy return and aid propulsion. As it now features a ribbed design, it should be more responsive than before.
