ASICS METASPEED SKY TOKYO EKIDEN - Elite marathon racing for stride-style runners

The ASICS METASPEED SKY TOKYO represents the pinnacle of marathon racing technology, engineered specifically for stride-style runners who start fast and finish faster. Featuring dual-layer foam construction with FF LEAP technology beneath FF TURBO PLUS cushioning, higher plate positioning, and thicker midsole through the toe area, this 170g elite racer helps lengthen strides whilst conserving energy—designed to push through the 30km wall and maintain pace when fatigue accumulates.

Dual-Layer Foam for Extended Stride Length

FF LEAP foam positioned in the midsole's bottom layer creates super lightweight, bouncy cushioning that delivers higher energy return with each footstrike. Above this, FF TURBO PLUS cushioning enhances responsive properties whilst providing stability during landing phases. This dual-foam configuration works synergistically to transform impact into forward propulsion—particularly valuable during marathon distances where maintaining stride mechanics becomes challenging.
