This shoe offers excellent cushioning to make running longer distances feel smoother across varied surfaces. The midsole features a combination of FF BLAST PLUS cushioning and PureGEL technology, creating a lightweight and soft cushioning experience that feels like landing on clouds — now paired with ASICSGRIP outsole rubber for advanced durability and grip beyond smooth roads.

FF BLAST PLUS cushioning is a midsole foam that provides a blend of cloud-like cushioning and a responsive ride, lighter than standard FF BLAST. PureGEL technology is a softer, updated version of ASICS' acclaimed GEL technology — approximately 65% softer than standard GEL whilst maintaining all the properties that made the original famous. These components work together to absorb impact and provide protection across extended efforts on mixed terrain, keeping the ride smooth whether you're on gravel paths, dirt tracks, or tarmac transitions.
