The GEL-Cumulus 28 is Asics' lightweight neutral daily trainer designed to deliver a smooth, cushioned ride across every mile. With upgraded FF BLAST MAX foam and refined geometry, this latest iteration brings more energy return and a livelier feel underfoot than its predecessor — all whilst staying lighter and more responsive than you'd expect from a shoe with this much cushioning.
The midsole uses FF BLAST MAX cushioning — one of Asics' most energetic foam technologies — to create soft landings and responsive toe-offs across varied training paces. PureGEL technology is strategically positioned in the heel, offering approximately 65% more softness than standard GEL whilst maintaining the impact absorption properties that have defined Asics cushioning for years. The combination delivers a ride that feels bouncy and protective without sacrificing ground connection, making it equally suited to easy recovery miles and steady-paced training runs.
