The Altra Olympus 5 Women's Trail Shoe is Altra's plushiest trail shoe. It's designed to tackle any terrain, with the EGO™ MAX midsole foam offers protection underfoot by positioning your heel and forefoot the same distance from the ground for better alignment and less impact. The footshape toebox allows your toes to relax and spread naturally to give you more comfort, balance and stability going uphill climbs and descents. The outsole is constructed using Vibram® Megagrip, a sticky rubber compound that offers maximum grip on wet and dry surfaces and it has a highly breathable mesh upper.

It's normal for your feet to swell slightly when running, especially over longer distances. We recommend ensuring your running shoes have enough room to account for this and to allow your toes to spread comfortably, by leaving approximately a thumbs width of space between the end of your longest toe and the front tip of the shoe. This will help to reduce the risk of bruised toenails, blisters or numbness.

Running shoe sizes can vary slightly from brand to brand but we generally advise wearing at least half a size bigger than your regular shoe size.
