The Altra Experience Wild Men's Trail Shoe is designed for all day trail adventures. It's lightweight and grippy with responsive compression-molded midsole foam to take on the miles. The MaxTrac™ outsole combines grip, traction, and durability and the GaiterTrap™ detail on the heel for easy use with a trail gaiter. There's extra toe protection thanks to strategically placed no-sew overlays on the toe box and a low 4mm drop complements the shoe’s rocker shape geometry for more efficient toe-off and a smooth, quick roll through your stride.

Midsole: Lightweight compression-molded EVA foam

It's normal for your feet to swell slightly when running, especially over longer distances. We recommend ensuring your running shoes have enough room to account for this and to allow your toes to spread comfortably, by leaving approximately a thumbs width of space between the end of your longest toe and the front tip of the shoe. This will help to reduce the risk of bruised toenails, blisters or numbness.

Running shoe sizes can vary slightly from brand to brand but we generally advise wearing at least half a size bigger than your regular shoe size.
