These electrolyte capsules contain Sodium, Potassium, Calcium and Magnesium in the ideal ratio to replace the ones lost by sweating so they are great for long distance runners, for people who sweat a lot or who train in a hot environment and for those who suffer from muscle cramps. As opposed to lots of other electrolytes or the Saltstick Chews they don't contain any flavours, sweeteners or other additional components. The only thing added is vitamin D which helps with the absorption of Calcium. Take one capsule every 30-60 minutes during the activity, depending on how much you sweat and how hot it is. This will help you maintain the right electrolyte levels in the body which will help you stay hydrated, prevent muscle cramping and reduce heat stress.
