The Cloudmonster 3 Hyper is On's super trainer built specifically for long runs and tempo efforts. Featuring a dual-layer midsole construction with Helion™ HF hyper foam on top and Helion™ foam beneath, this is a plateless design engineered to keep legs fresh across multi-hour efforts whilst delivering the energy return needed when the pace increases.

The CloudTec® cushioning system is engineered for a highly responsive ride using two distinct foam layers. The top layer uses Helion™ HF hyper foam for maximum energy return and impact absorption — this is the premium compound that provides the bouncy, propulsive feel. The bottom layer uses standard Helion™ foam for durability, creating a construction that balances performance with longevity. Athlete-led testing informed the specific layering, ensuring high energy and performance mile after mile.

Unlike carbon-plated super trainers, the Cloudmonster 3 Hyper uses no plate. This deliberate choice reduces impact and helps keep legs fresh across extended efforts — particularly relevant during long runs where cumulative fatigue matters more than maximum propulsion.
