Advice for Trail Runners: The Nike Women's Pegasus Trail 5 Running Shoes are designed for mixed-terrain trails and sections of tarmac. It's fair to say the Pegasus Trail are great hybrid-running shoes.
The updated ReactX midsole in the Nike Pegasus Trail 5 should feel more responsive and cushioned than the previous version.
In comparison to the last edition, there's also less outsole rubber. While the outsole rubber protects the ReactX foam, the updated design should improve how comfortable the cushioning feels on both road and trail.
A versatile outsole design should feel smooth on sections of road, and grippy on light trails. For clarity, the outsole doesn't offer enough grip for technical trails.
