HOKA Challenger 8 GORE-TEX - Waterproof versatility for all-weather running

The HOKA Challenger 8 GORE-TEX sits at the intersection of road and trail running, delivering smooth cushioning with confidence-inspiring traction across varied terrain—now with complete waterproof protection. Featuring increased foam underfoot compared to previous versions, improved fit, and reimagined multi-directional lug orientation, this weather-ready workhorse handles everything from tarmac to technical trails whilst keeping your feet dry through rain, puddles, and wet conditions.

GORE-TEX Protection with Enhanced Cushioning

The GORE-TEX membrane provides complete waterproof protection from toe to heel, keeping feet dry during rainy runs, stream crossings, and soaked trail conditions. This breathable waterproof layer works alongside compression moulded EVA that creates substantial underfoot cushioning—noticeably more foam than the Challenger 7—providing that hyper-cushioned sensation whether you're on wet roads, muddy gravel tracks, or waterlogged trail surfaces. The increased stack height absorbs impact across varied terrain whilst the GORE-TEX ensures external moisture stays out.
