Game changing energy rim technology makes its Adios Pro debut, a ridged carbon fibre rim around the edge of the adidas Adizero Adios Pro 5 that gives you all the benefits of a standard carbon plate, including a more efficient stride, and a pop of energy at toe off. But buy moving it to the edge it improves stability and allows the foam to bounce back with force right under your foot.
The foam used, Lightstrike Pro is incredibly lightweight, and responsive, meaning that you get a super springy feel under your forefoot to drive you towards the finishing line, with the full depth of the foam working to give you energy return.
In the upper adidas have used Lightlock 2.0, a new one-way stretch fabric that delivers lightweight locked in fit that adapts to your movements for long distance comfort.
